The people-centered and multi-sectoral approach used by LGDA in partnership with the District AIDS Action Committee, ... FAO and Ministry of Health and Child Care has increased the Egg Project's sphere of influence and acceptance of HIV and AIDS realities within communities. Everyone, HIV positive or negative, now understands the need for behavior change and unwavering support for the infected and affected. This project was funded by the FAO and DAC.

A Case Study conducted by LGDA has revealed that... the Association has improved household food security in Guruve District through increased production and consumption of dietary protein intake (meat and eggs). This improvement has been achieved through funding from the FAO and DAC.

LGDA gets an award!

LGDA, together with Action Aid, got an award in a flashy... ceremony held in Harare last week. The event, hosted by NANGO, was held at the Harare International Conference Centre on the 15th of August 2017 between 09:00AM and 4:00PM local time. The Executive Director of LGDA, Mr Murendo Ephraim, received the award on behalf of LGDA. In an interview after the event, Mr Murendo said he was humbled by the recognition of the work being done by his organisation.
